Linda was the popular face of the late ’80s,  and has worked with everyone from Richard Avedon, Peter Lindbergh, Arthur Elgort to Bruce Webber,  snagging multiple covers of American Vogue in the process.
A shoot in the French Elle with the then newly started designer Azzedine Alaïa was the beginning of a deep friendship that they both still dearly cherish today.

Linda on modelling now:
I started modelling at the beginning of the ’80s, so yes, you can imagine things have changed quite a bit. We worked as models and that was it. Maybe it was more easygoing and less glamorous. Nowadays modelling is more time-consuming and, in that way, life-consuming. It seems like your social media accounts matter equally as much as your portfolio. The fashion industry nowadays appears to be more and more about marketing.
