Paparazzi welcomes Ilya Vermeulen (16). We asked her to fill out our questionnaire.
If you could only pick one word to describe your persona, what would it be?
What can you tell us about the place you’re from?
First of all, I would say boring… I’m from Lelystad, a relatively new city, that lacks the character that comes with the older houses and canals of, say, Amsterdam.
And what can you tell us about the place you wish you would have been from?
I would have loved to be born and raised somewhere in the middle of nowhere, in an old farm with sheep, surrounded by nature.
What characteristic of yourself would you like to thank your parents for?
My parents really thought me to respect others, and accept them for who they are.
Your favourite Instagram post?
What do you like most about being the age you are in 2017?
The fact that I have my whole live in front of me, and that nothing is fixed yet. I have no idea what I’ll be doing in five years and that’s amazing.
What would the world need more of in order to be a better place?
For people to use their heads more. People are just doing the most bizarre things.
What puts a smile on your face?
An old couple walking hand in hand. It always makes me hope I’ll grow old to be as happy and loving as those people.
What can the world expect from you?
A girl who smiles a lot and enjoys all the little things in life!
If you could have asked yourself a question in this questionnaire, what would it be and what would your answer look like?
If you could design and build your own house, what would be an absolute essential? A slide right next to the stairs 🙂
